So cute, the food bowl part is easily removable which helps for cleaning it out. I would love to see some interchangeable replacement bowls such as foraging toy style with little lids or sliders so they work for their food and one without the slats for wet food as I don’t feed my rats from a bowl but can’t help but scatter a little in here because I love to see them on their picnic bench >:)

A cage-mounted rat picnic bench food bowl that turns feeding time into practical enrichment.
The full-size bench gives rats a place to sit while keeping food raised above loose bedding. It attaches to standard wire cage bars using the included metal fittings and is handmade in our Cumbria workshop.

Before you order
This is a substantial rat-sized accessory, not a miniature mouse prop. Check the 25 x 18 x 16 cm dimensions against your cage layout and bar spacing before ordering.
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth and allow it to dry fully before returning it to the cage. Check the fittings regularly as part of normal cage maintenance.

How it fixes: a headless bolt screws into a threaded metal insert in the piece, goes through the cage and is held on the outside with washers and a wing nut, so it tightens by hand. Fits cage bars up to about 2.5 cm (1 in).
