About this piece
A set of three pixel-heart rat cage shelves with included fittings, designed to create separate perches and staggered climbing points.
The blocky retro-game shape makes the shelves easy to recognise while the three-piece set lets you spread them around the cage rather than relying on one fixed platform.

Plan the layout before ordering
Check the gallery views and attachment points against your cage bars. Leave sensible clearance between each shelf and other cage furniture so rats can move between the levels comfortably.
Care and safety
Wipe with a damp cloth and allow each shelf to dry fully before returning it to the cage. Check the fittings and edges during normal cage cleans and remove any shelf that becomes loose, damaged, rough or heavily chewed.

How it fixes: a headless bolt screws into a threaded metal insert in the piece, goes through the cage and is held on the outside with washers and a wing nut, so it tightens by hand. Fits cage bars up to about 2.5 cm (1 in).
