Wonderful item, I think during transit one of the mushroom tops became loose and was able to come off of the base. I am definitely not upset and plan on super gluing it back together. I know that not every mail delivery person handles packages with care! Still a lovely made piece!

About this piece
A pair of mushroom rat foraging cups for hiding small treats, dried herbs or scatter feed around the cage.
Mount the two cups to standard wire cage bars with the included metal fittings, then place them together or at different heights to create more than one feeding point. The mushroom shape adds a woodland theme without obscuring the open cups.

How to use them
Attach each cup to suitable wire bars, check the fittings are secure, then add a small portion of your rats' usual food or treats. Position the pair where they remain accessible without obstructing doors, ramps or other cage routes.
Care and safety
Wipe with a damp cloth and allow the cups to dry fully before refilling. Do not submerge or pressure-wash. Check the fittings and mushroom tops during normal cage cleans and remove a cup if it becomes loose, damaged, rough or heavily chewed.

How it fixes: a headless bolt screws into a threaded metal insert in the piece, goes through the cage and is held on the outside with washers and a wing nut, so it tightens by hand. Fits cage bars up to about 2.5 cm (1 in).
