This is by far our rats favorite item in their cage. It also ended up being way bigger than we thought. I took off a star only because the windows ended up not looking as pictured. We were disappointed to see that there was no fake wood design on the outside. Otherwise the dwarfs are super happy!

About this piece
A spacious fairy mushroom rat hide with an enclosed resting chamber and included cage fittings.
The red-and-white woodland shape gives adult rats a covered place to sleep, nest and retreat while adding a distinctive mushroom theme to the cage. It mounts to standard wire bars using the included metal fittings.
Size: approx. 25 cm high x 23 cm wide x 18 cm deep
Included: one mushroom rat hide and metal cage fittings
Fit: standard indoor wire cage bars
Production: Handmade to order in Cumbria. Dispatched in around 7 working days.
Before you order
This is a substantial adult-rat hide. Check the 25 x 23 x 18 cm dimensions, doorway, cage-bar spacing and intended mounting position before ordering.
Care and safety
Wipe with a damp cloth and allow it to dry fully before returning it to the cage. Check the fittings and edges during normal cage cleans and remove the hide if it becomes damaged, rough or heavily chewed.
Delivery: Free UK shipping. Tracked international shipping is available at checkout.
How it fixes: a headless bolt screws into a threaded metal insert in the piece, goes through the cage and is held on the outside with washers and a wing nut, so it tightens by hand. Fits cage bars up to about 2.5 cm (1 in).
