About this piece

A cloud-shaped rat hammock and hide with a soft, pre-fitted fleece lining for sheltered cage naps.

Hang it from four points as a gently suspended rat bed, or position it lower to create a more enclosed resting nook. The cloud form adds a playful feature to the cage while giving rats a warm place to settle.

Included: one cloud hide, pre-fitted fleece lining and four-point cage fittings

Use: hanging hammock or lower-level sheltered hide

Attachment: fittings for standard wire cage bars

Choose four secure wire-bar attachment points and allow enough clearance around the hide for your rats to enter and leave comfortably. The gallery includes fitting, angle and scale views. A confirmed size is not currently available, so please check your cage space and contact us before ordering if you need fit confirmation.

How it fixes: a headless bolt screws into a threaded metal insert in the piece, goes through the cage and is held on the outside with washers and a wing nut, so it tightens by hand. Fits cage bars up to about 2.5 cm (1 in).
